Questions of Fashion and Technology

While researching concepts and theories behind dress and fashion I can't help but keep asking the same question I have been asking for years: what are the concepts and theories behind fashion with embedded technologies? Where does it belong in fashionable and appropriate dress? When we need power to control our clothes, how will that affect our sensibility of the body and the "need" for charging our garments? What happens when we run out of power? What is technology’s relationship to our bodies?

Something I don't talk about often is the fact I get so much joy in finding things. Like a finding a good article or a person who has interesting views.

I've read hundreds of articles about technological clothes, but the only book that comes close to talking about the roles of technological fashions is Techo Fashion by Bradley Quinn.

NEC Future Memory and Soft Products

Resontware and other devices are showcased on NEC's website. It shows possible storage and phone solutions for the future. The collection includes a phone that wraps around like a bracelet and a bracelet that holds images from the wearer’s surroundings.

Cellular Chip

This chip may possibly work for one of my inventions/ideas. Not sure how it make it work, but I am investigating it further.
